Gefion Group Sells Development Rights in Havdrup Skovby to Lind & Risør while Continuing Development of Own Homes, Senior Living Community and Shared Facilities
Gefion Group has entered into an agreement to sell development rights in the first phase of the Havdrup Skovby development project to Lind & Risør. At the same time, Gefion Group will continue the development of the remaining part of the phase, where homes will be built with a strong focus on community and a diverse mix of housing types – including a senior living community.
Havdrup Skovby is a new residential district situated between town and countryside, where the development integrates naturally with the surrounding landscape and the Solrød Bæk water and nature project. The area has been developed with a clear ambition to create a harmonious relationship between nature, homes and community.
The development will be characterised by a variety of housing types and sizes, with a predominance of smaller homes. The landscape is a key element of the development, with nature extending throughout the residential clusters. The alternating open and more enclosed structure creates a seamless transition between the built environment and nature, ensuring that all residents have easy access to green spaces, views and recreational amenities.
Strong Partnership for the Delivery of Havdrup Skovby
The sale to Lind & Risør establishes a strong partnership for the delivery of the first phase of Havdrup Skovby.

Homes for Different Target Groups and Stages of Life
The part of the first phase that Gefion Group will develop itself will include homes in attractive sizes aimed at seniors, singles and families with children. A senior living community will be established at the heart of this part of the development, with a focus on proximity, community and quality of life.
As a distinctive feature of the project, the existing farm within the area will be transformed into a shared gathering point for the entire development. As part of the first phase, the farm’s existing barns will be converted to accommodate a range of active facilities designed to support both community life and an active everyday lifestyle. These will include a padel court, multi-purpose sports court, communal seating and recreational areas, sauna, cold-water plunge facilities and workshop spaces.
The shared facilities will become a central focal point for life in Havdrup Skovby and will help foster strong social connections across different groups of residents.
A New Residential District with Nature at its Heart
Havdrup Skovby has been developed through a holistic approach, with a strong focus on the interaction between nature, architecture and community. With both Lind & Risør and Gefion Group actively involved as developers in the first phase, a solid foundation is now in place for the realisation of this new and attractive residential district in green surroundings.
