Gefion Group and Ingcon Sell Residential Project in Ishøj and Continue Development of “Horisonten Ishøj”
Gefion Group, in collaboration with Ingcon, has sold the residential project “Horisonten Ishøj” to Urban Partners. The transaction is the result of a focused development effort and confirms the strong demand for well-designed residential projects in growth areas around Copenhagen.
The sale marks an important milestone for “Horisonten Ishøj”, which forms part of the ongoing transformation of Sydengen – a former commercial and industrial area currently being developed into an attractive residential neighbourhood with green surroundings and strong infrastructure.

Their investment represents a significant endorsement of both the project and the work we have put into its development. At the same time, we are pleased to continue our role as developer in collaboration with Ingcon, ensuring that the project’s vision and quality are maintained all the way through to completion,” says Thomas W. The project has been designed by ACT Architects, with a focus on creating a modern and cohesive residential development characterised by high architectural quality, functional layouts and attractive communal areas.
The project comprises approximately 9,600 sqm of residential space across 148 modern rental apartments ranging from two to four rooms. The homes are arranged around a green courtyard, with an emphasis on quality of life, functional layouts and architectural quality. The property will also include underground parking, helping to create a calm and green urban environment.
The completed project is expected to be delivered to Urban Partners in mid-2027.
Gefion Group and Ingcon were advised by Savills in connection with the transaction.
Urban Partners as the New Owner
According to Gefion Group, finding a partner that shares the ambitions for the project has been a key priority.

Attractive Location in a Growing Area
“Horisonten Ishøj” is being developed on Industriskellet in Ishøj, within easy reach of the beach, nature and public transport. The area is undergoing rapid development and is increasingly attracting residents seeking proximity to Copenhagen combined with more space and green surroundings.
The local development plan and building permit are in place, and construction is already underway. The new homes are expected to be ready for occupancy in summer 2027.
